MY NUMBER ONE TIP FOR ACHIEVING YOUR FITNESS GOALS
Most people have the hardest time achieving their fitness goals. Whether they want to lose weight, gain muscle, increase their endurance, or feel better, achieving their goal may seem impossible. My number one tip for achieving ANY of your fitness goals is…. TO WORKOUT WITH A PURPOSE! Having an important “why” you’re working out or exercising is crucial for a person’s physical and mental health. The stronger your “why” for working out is, the more of a chance your goal will be achieved. Sit down and take the time to think honestly about what your “why” is. This “why” can be used for motivation any time you feel down or have negative feelings about your fitness progress. For example, a person’s “why” for working out is so he can be a role model for his child to have a healthy lifestyle. Every time he feels like not working out, he thinks about his “why” and gets the job done. Stockton University offers many facilities where you can achieve your own fitness goals. The Galloway Campus has The Sports Center (Big Blue) and I-Wing Gym where you can work out with their variety of machines and equipment. The Atlantic City Campus also has a gym that has many free weights and cardio machines. You can also apply this “why” concept to anything you are struggling in life with, whether it’s for school or your job. Always have a purpose in what you do and enjoy life to the fullest!
