My name is Elijah Jacobs. I am studying criminal justice with a concentration in forensic investigation. I transferred from Cumberland County College where I obtained my Associate’s degree in Justice Studies/ Forensic Technology. The reason I chose Stockton University was because Stockton offered me more opportunities than any other schools that I applied for. I am so glad that I chose Stockton because I met so many people and they were able to help me find jobs on campus. Currently, I am a Resident Assistant in Atlantic City and I work at the Residential Office and the Atlantic City fitness center. I never thought that I would be able to accomplish so much in my life that I have accomplished. I’ve learned so many life lessons on my journey that helped me make better choices in my life. One lesson that I will leave with you is do not be afraid to take chances because you never know where they will lead you.

Spring break is officially one week away, man where did the semester go. Lately, I have had the realization that I am almost done my undergraduate college experience. It has been a challenging but very exciting three years. Soon enough I will be wearing my cap and gown at commencement on May 11, and then continuing on my education in a Second-Degree Baccalaureate nursing program and becoming a registered nurse. Despite being concerned about mid-terms and final exams, I have decided to make the most out of my last two months here at Stockton. My goal is to experience the most I can with my friends and really take in my last semester and I hope that you will too. Are you with me?
First, I want to slow down a bit. I want to pay attention to what is going on around me, my thoughts and feelings. I want to take the time to be with my friends, enjoy that good campus food while I am still here. Second, I want to capture the fun times and adventures, so that one day I can look back and smile at the good times. Lastly, as everyone’s goal should be, I want to finish strong, hard work will give you a sense of accomplishment and I want to leave feeling proud of the work I have done. I will leave you with this last note, be determined, dedicated, and organized and together we can make it through these last two months. My name is Shabey Joseph and I’m senior majoring in Social Work and double minoring in Childhood Studies and Victimology & Victim Studies. I would describe my time here at Stockton as an adventure. Now that I’m in my last semester as a undergrad I can’t help but think about how bitter sweet it will be when I graduate in May. I’ll be sad to leave this University because of all the friends that I’ve made, the opportunities that I’ve been granted, and all the things that I’ve experienced. Looking into the future I’m excited about what lies ahead for me in grad school, knowing that Stockton has set me up for greatness!
Hello Everyone and Welcome Back!
It is finally December, the fall semester is almost over. With finals sneaking up on us before we know it I feel that we need a little stress reliever. A great way I relieve stress is by crafting, here is how to make snowflakes to spruce up your room or apartment and spread some cheer. Good Luck with finals and Happy Holidays!! -RA Dayane Click here to view Dayane & Macie's Tour of Stockton Atlantic City's Residential Building!
